“I've kind of always been an entrepreneur, ever since I was a kid mowing lawns," said Travis Fryback "97. He is one of two Lundquist College alumni to number among the most recent recipients of the 20 Under 40 award, an annual recognition of Lane County's emerging business leaders.
Fryback founded Team Casino Parties and Music, an events company that has gone from just five events in 2002 to more than 485 in 2013. He has brought his can-do spirit to the community, too—particularly through his work with Springfield Education Foundation, which he helped grow from a $70,000 per year organization to a $235,000 one.
For Kelly Bosch "98, a CPA at Moss Adams, a career as an accountant has always been about more than simply crunching numbers.
“It's a really cool feeling to be able to help clients, to meet them, and get to know them," said Bosch.
Bosch's compassion extends to the Lane County community as well. She is a board member of Downtown Eugene Inc. and has shared her business smarts over the years via classes she's taught through the Lane Community College Small Business Development Center, the United Way, and other organizations.
